Gary Smith

Gary has been a sales leader in the biotech/medical device industry for over 30 years. As Vice President of Sales, he brings experience from major companies such as Genentech, Boston Scientific and Medtronic while being integral to developing markets and gaining clinical acceptance of innovative devices for start-ups Invatec and CeloNova. During Gary's tenure at Invatec, he garnered over 75% of national sales through designing and implementing sales strategies for their embolic protection market, launching MOMA & FiberNet devices and continuing to establish multidisciplinary teams in the peripheral vascular market following its acquisition by Medtronic. Throughout his career, Gary has been able to accomplish his priorities centered on patient care through maintaining numerous relationships cultivated with physicians, program directors and thought leaders. His focus on providing continuing medical education, device in-servicing and training opportunities through these relationships fosters his passion in aiding practitioners to improve access, interaction, treatment and outcomes for their patients.
